Leadwork is the single biggest reason a roof leaks — and the single most overlooked detail when most roofers quote. We're City & Guilds qualified in heritage and contemporary leadwork, and we hand-form every flashing, valley and bay roof we install. Done properly, lead lasts 80+ years.

Most leaks we're called out to fix in London aren't tile problems — they're failed cement fillets, thin pre-formed lead at chimneys, or undersized aprons on bay roofs and dormers. The fix is almost always the same: strip it back, replace with the correct code lead, hand-formed on site, dressed properly into the abutment.

We work to the Lead Sheet Training Academy specifications on every job. That means Code 4 and Code 5 for flashings and aprons, Code 5 and Code 6 for valleys and bay roofs, with the right rolls, welts and clips — never overlong sheets that buckle and split in the first hot summer.
